Competitive Teams Announcement
Submitted By Admin on Thursday, May 11, 2017
The Dundas Tigers have a proud tradition and have a competitive program designed for House League players who are ready for a more competitive level of play. There are three divisions which we will be hosting competitive teams in 2017: T-ball, Minor Little League (Baseball) and Major Little League (Baseball).

In the T-ball division, players must be 8 years old or younger as of August 31 of the current baseball season. In the Minor Little League division, players must be 9-10 years old as of August 31 of the current baseball season. In the Major Little League division, players must be 11-12 years old as of April 30 of the current baseball season. All players must be registered on a House League team to be eligible for a competitive team.

MAJOR Little League will be having competitive team workouts on Martino Major Diamond at Tuesday 16 May at 8-9, Sunday 28 May at 6-8 and Friday 2 June at 6-8.

MINOR Little League will be having a competitive team workout on Martino Minor Diamond on Sunday 28 May at 6-8. All-star tryouts will be Friday 2 June at 6-8 and Sunday 4 June at 6-8.

T-Ball will have All-Star tryouts at Edwards Park on Friday 26 May at 6-8, Sunday 28 May at 6-8, Sunday 4 June at 6-8.

There is no cost to attend. Any player who attends a workout or tryout may not wear any competitive team attire (e.g. hats, jerseys, jackets) from previous years. To be considered for a placement on our competitive teams, players must attend at least 1 workout or tryout.

Competitive teams practice 1-2 times per week and typically participate in 3-4 tournaments, typically held on the weekends, throughout the summer.
